Justice Danladi Umar stays the chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), the tribunal has insisted.
The CCT is empowered by the Nigerian Constitution to prosecute public officers who contravene asset declaration legal guidelines within the nation.
Spokesperson of the tribunal, Ibraheem Alhassan, made the clarification throughout an interview with PRNigeria in Abuja.
The CCT spokesman urged Nigerians to ignore insinuations in regards to the standing of Justice Umar within the Tribunal.
He acknowledged that opposite to experiences, the place of the justice and members of the Tribunal are assured by the Constitution.
