The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is combating a bias conflict towards corruption, concentrating on states dominated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says National Chairman Uche Secondus.
Secondus made the allegation in a assertion on Thursday the place he regreted that the Commission “has remained beclouded in their bias and has refused to heed the advisories from well meaning Nigerians and international watchers including the recent one from the British High Commissioner to Nigeria Mr. Paul Arkwright for them not to take sides with any political party ahead of the 2019 general election.”
As acknowledged by him, “Rather than encourage states who're severely concerned within the supply of democracy dividend to their folks, the envious ruling APC has been conniving with the related businesses to be harassing contractors ostensibly to frustrate and gradual them down of their improvement strides.
“Contractors in Taraba and Rivers states in addition to different PDP states are being harassed by EFCC operatives and are being arm twisted to implicate PDp leaders.
“Intelligence is obtainable to the party that the ruling party and the federal authorities have resolved to make sure that PDP states are completely placed on their toes in order to not get their bearing forward of 2019.
“It can be clear to the world and discerning minds that PDP governors are doing unbelievable jobs executing initiatives that contact the lives of their folks not like their APC counterparts.
“In some states like Taraba where projects have been halted as a result of EFCC meddlesomeness, the unemployment situation has worsened.”
