Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has revealed that Roy Keane is his “absolute hero”.
The 32-year-old has made over 500 appearances for Roma but has never won the league title in his 15 seasons at the club.
Keane helped guide Manchester United to seven Premier League titles as well as the Champions League in 1999, and the Italy international has revealed his admiration for the former Old Trafford captain.

“Keane is my absolute hero. The 16 on my shirt is, along with the birthday of my daughter Gaia, dedicated to him,” De Rossi told Roma’s official website.
“He is the only person in the world I asked for a photo with, two years ago.
“I was too embarrassed to ask Diego Maradona, but with Keane I couldn’t resist.”...
