The management tussle by members of the National Union of Road Transport employees (NURTW) in Udu native Government Area of Delta State has resulted within the killing of three individuals.
The police spokesman within the state, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, who confirmed the incident to Famzn News in Asaba mentioned “we arrested six individuals, and investigation is ongoing.
“We have also deployed more policemen to the area to maintain law and order; the suspects will be charged to court on completion of investigation.”
Sources mentioned one Elvis Kporoh allegedly overthrew the management of NURTW led by one Michael Theophilous final week.
He mentioned it angered thugs loyal to Michael, resulting in the loss of life of three individuals.
Speaking to Famzn News, the vice Chairman of Udu council, Mr, Justice Iyashere mentioned “it was a change of management on the Express Motor park.
“We at the council level is already holding talks with aggrieved parties with a view to arresting the incident. It was too bloody as they were shooting guns at sight.”
