A stray canine has attacked and injured three villagers and livestock in Basaura city in Jega space of Kebbi state, medical official has mentioned.
Director of Veterinary and Public Health, Dr Ahmad Ambursa, mentioned, ”an unknown canine was reported to have attacked residents and livestock in Basaura.”
He mentioned the victims had been taken to Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital for therapy.
Acoording to the News Agency of Nigeria, a group of veterinary docs, led by Dr Ahmad Muhammad, visited the village the place the incident occurred for affirmation on getting the report.
It was realized that the group was acquired by the District Head of Basaura, Alhaji Muhammad Buhari, who knowledgeable the members that the canine was from unknown vacation spot and attacked each people and livestock.
“The dog was killed and burnt to ashes by youths in the area,” he mentioned.
