DS revealed the E-Tense electric concept in Geneva, a dramatic sports car design study to showcase the potential of the brand.
Powered by a 402hp electric motor, the E-Tense concept is capable of a 0-62mph (100km/h) in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 155mph (250km/h). The concept is based upon a carbon monocoque chassis and features a total driving range of up to 224 miles (360km).
The sculpted shape of the E-Tense can’t hide the motorsport influences or a certain Lamborghini vibe at the rear with that massive rear diffuser and the central rear foglight.
All in all, this is one more impressive sports car concept coming from DS, previewing certain design elements coming in their future production models. Although we would love to see them finally build something as crazy as the E-Tense concept, DS will probably park the idea next to the other concepts we loved.
