Senator Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) has stated that solely electorates will decide the destiny of President Muhammadu Buhari and never the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, had assured President Muhammadu Buhari of victory within the 2019 elections.
Reacting to a query from Seun Okinbaloye of Channels Television on Tinubu’s assurance that Buhari will emerge victorious in 2019, Sani mentioned: “Those who will resolve the destiny of Buhari and all these contesting are the citizens and no particular person can say that is what the citizens will do.
“They are those to place the federal government on a scale, gage it and filter to see whether or not it's worthy of being re-elected into workplace.
“There are issues that confront the Nigerian state at present, and it’s very important and significant for the government to address them.”
