The 23-year-old has worked his way into Jurgen Klopp's first-team plans having been ruled out with a knee injury for over a year and will be rewarded with fresh terms
Jon Flanagan is set to sign a new three-year deal at Liverpool, Goal understands.
The full-back has regained his place in the Reds' starting line-up under Jurgen Klopp after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of action for over a year.
And the Reds are set to reward him with a deal that will see him remain at Anfield until 2019, with his current contract set to be up at the end of the season.
Talks with Flanagan only began once the player had proved his form and fitness, but the 23-year-old is set to put pen to paper on his new contract on Friday. He will play no part in Thursday night's Europa League clash with Manchester United, however, having been left out of Klopp's squad for the competition's latter stages.
