Governor Hassan Dankwambo Of Gombe
A political group, Rescue Nigeria Mission 2019 (RNM 2019) has backed Governor Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe State for the 2019 presidency.
In a statement, the National co-ordinator of the group, Umar Ahmed, said the decision to endorse Dankwambo was taken after wider consultation.
Ahmed said: “After an intensive deliberation and wider consultation on the state of the nation, we have unanimously endorsed Governor Dankwambo to become the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2019.
“Never in the history of Nigeria has there ever emerged a sincere, committed and dedicated leader like Alhaji Hassan Dankwambo.
“If he becomes the president, he will help the nation to consolidate the gains of democracy and transform Nigeria. We’re therefore soliciting the support of the good people of Nigeria for the sake of posterity.”
