As Arsene Wenger once again finds himself on the receiving end of summer criticism, club icon Robert Pires believes his countryman is still the right man to lead Arsenal.
The manager has made only two signings since the culmination of the 2015-16 season in Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding and fans are concerned about defensive depth and a lack of goalscorers.
And while Pires feels Wenger could indeed add to his squad, the 42-year-old insists his former boss starts every season with the goal of winning titles.
