The Real Madrid star posted a video on Twitter as he celebrated his 31st birthday and says he is "enjoying a really good moment in my professional and personal life"
Advancing beyond age 30 can be an unsettling time for most people, but Cristiano Ronaldo is as happy as ever.
The Real Madrid star turned 31 on Friday but remains one of world football's great individual attacking powers, notching 19 goals in 22 games in La Liga so far this season.
Ronaldo's popularity shows no signs of diminishing, either, and he took to Twitter as he celebrated his birthday to thank his many fans for their messages.
"I wanted to thank you for the messages you have sent me," he said in a video filmed at home. "As you know it's my birthday. Thirty-one years old...
"I'm really happy. I'm enjoying a really good moment in my professional and personal life.
"So thank you all! We're together. And please keep on supporting me like you do. I'll keep trying to do my best on and off the pitch. Thank you all!"
