AC Milan saw off Juventus 4-3 on penalties to lift the Supercoppa Italiana in Doha on Friday, after the match finished 1-1 in extra-time.
The Serie A giants - also the finalists in last season's Copa Italia - faced off fielding full-strength line-ups as indication of how seriously they were taking the tie.
It was Giorgio Chiellini who put Juventus ahead in the 18th minute from a corner, heading in Miralem Pjanic's pinpoint delivery.
But Giacomo Bonaventura equalised for Milan before the break, tidily finishing from Suso's cross.
With neither team able to break the deadlock in normal and then extra time, the match went to penalties where Mario Pasalic netted the winning kick.
