The former Borussia Dortmund boss saw his spectacles ripped from his face by Christian Benteke after Adam Lallana's late winner but laughed off the incident post-match
Glasses wearers everywhere felt sympathy for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Saturday as the German had his spectacles broken during the Reds' win over Norwich City.
Adam Lallana's stoppage time volley secured a dramatic 5-4 win for the Anfield outfit and sparked wild celebrations which Klopp was keen to get involved in.
But the former Borussia Dortmund manager did not count on Christian Benteke, who in his own eagerness to join in with his team-mates pulled Klopp's glasses off his face.
The 'Normal One' was left to watch the final seconds without his visual aids and joked post-match that he may struggle to find his spare pair when he gets home.
"I have a second pair of glasses, but I can't find them. It's hard to find glasses without glasses," he told reporters.
Klopp may now think again about celebrating so vociferously next time. Or maybe not...
