The Cleveland Cavaliers’ newly-minted head coach, Tyronn Lue, will have only coached 11 games when he is likely to be the head coach of the Eastern Conference All-Stars in Toronto next month.
But prior to Saturday’s contest against division rival Chicago Bulls, Lue said his predecessor, David Blatt, deserves to coach the All-Star Game after leading the team to a conference leading 30-11 record.
“I talked to P.J. Carlesimo about it this morning and I told him I think Coach Blatt should coach it,” Lue said.
