A 2-1 loss to Tottenham on Sunday leaves Manuel Pellegrini's men six points behind league leaders Leicester and the former players feel their chances of winning the title are over
Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher are in agreement that Manchester City's chances of winning the Premier League this season are over following their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.
Harry Kane's penalty put Spurs in front at the Etihad before Kelechi Iheanacho equalised shortly after, but Christian Eriksen had the final say with a late winner.
The result leaves City six points behind leaders Leicester City and Henry dismissed their chances of lifting the title.
"I don't think [Man City can win the league]," He told Sky Sports.
"I've been saying that this league is so crazy that they can go on a run. But it looks like it's going to very difficult for them.
Carragher added: "I don't think they can win it. The gap now is six points, it's the fact that two teams have got four points on them and Leicester have got the six on them.
"It's not the biggest gap in the world but you're looking at three teams to drop points to be able to capitalise on."
City face an away trip to Newcastle next season before they take on Liverpool at Anfield a few days later.
