The Cross River Police Command has intercepted the leader of the Movement for The actualisation for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) in Odukpani local government of the state along side forty six other members. As stated by the State’s Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa, the command got intelligence report that following their meeting in Ikom local government area of the state, that they had wished to proceed to Calabar. As stated by the CP, the command following the intelligence moved and stopped the group before reaching the metropolis to forestall the breach of peace. Inuwa further disclosed that “Upon questioning then, the group was brought to the State Command Headquarters for questioning upon that they'll be discharged if their intentions are lawful as no weapon was found on them.”
