Members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra/Biafra Independence Movement (MASSOB/BIM), in Isiala Mbano, Imo State, protested what they called ‘incessant harassment and intimidation’ by Nigeria security operatives each time they embark on non violent struggle for self-determination of Biafra nation, calling for an end to such action any time they ask for what they called their right.
These positions were expressed yesterday by the leader of Okigwe zonal region, in the company of Samuel Ogubuike, the leader of the Elder Council in the state, Ezeugo Kingsley Iyke and regional members during their protest march and appraisal of the last Monday Biafra Day/Remembrance held in Anara Central School, Isiala Mbano Local Council of Imo State.
During the exercise which featured various events such as prayers, solidarity songs, display of placards, football match between Ihitte Uboma and Isiala Mbano regions, they maintained their stand to struggle for the actualisation of their dream despite all forms of ‘intimidations, harassments, and confrontations by the agents of Nigerian government.’
