The former striker saw his record as the club's youngster ever scorer taken away from him on Saturday as Kylian Mbappe netted in injury time against Troyes

Kylian Mbappe entered the history books on Saturday after breaking Thierry Henry's 21-year record as Monaco's youngest ever scorer.

A 17-year-old Henry scored his first ever professional goal as Monaco triumphed 6-0 over Lens on April 29, 1995.

Henry, who is now retired, held that record for just under 21 years, until Mbappe scored in the 90th minute as Monaco ran out 3-1 winners over Troyes at the weekend, trumping the World Cup winner by a matter of months.

Mbappe was not even born when Henry opened his Monaco account, coming into the world over three and a half years later and has already been linked with a move to Real Madrid, Liverpool... and Arsenal.

The youngster made his debut against Caen earlier this season, before grabbing his first assist in the 4-1 loss to Tottenham in the Europa League in October.
