Referee John Charles and Assistant Referee Ogunta Matador, has been suspended for poor performance in a Glo Premier League Week 4-match on Sunday until the end of the current season by the Referees Committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). Both arbiters were on duty when Sunshine Stars of Akure hosted Dolphins of Port Harcourt on Sunday. The homers won the game 2-1. Chairman of the NFF Referees Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Fresh stated.both officials were suspended for “gross misconduct and performance below the required standard.”
