The one-year-old marriage between son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Olujonwo and daughter of Baba Ijebu CEO, Tope Adebutu has crashed.
Olujonwo informed Igbosere Magistrate’s Court in Lagos that shortly after their wedding ceremony, his spouse bodily assaulted him. He additionally accused his spouse of threatening him, including that he needed to depart their residence for security of his life.
In a counter-affidavit, Tope Adebutu, a Justice of the Peace in Ogun state has debunked his allegations. She as an alternative accused her husband of dishonest on her and failing to consummate their marriage.
Tope claimed Olujonwo deserted her at their honeymoon vacation spot for 5 days whereas he was in a Lagos resort “in the company of other women”.

While denying claims of assaulting her husband, Adebutu alleged that Obasanjo’s son was a drug addict who's presently in rehabilitation at a personal hospital.
Famzn News reported in 2017 that previous to their wedding ceremony, Olujonwo’s mom Taiwo had raised an alarm that a prophet revealed to her that the wedding would have evil repercussions.
