Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has stated Igbos by no means believed in President Muhammadu Buhari, including that the individuals of the South East will help Buhari’s re-election.
Speaking at a mega rally in Owerri, Imo State capital, he expressed hope that the emergence of Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the party had re-positioned the APC for the 2019 common elections.
Okorocha stated: “This man (Oshiomhole) coming is like a beacon of hope for the APC.
“Mr Comrade, this party seems to be as much as you. And I'm certain that you'll ship. You have delivered as a governor, you may have delivered as a union chief, you'll ship because the National Chairman of the APC.
“We additionally need to right the impression that there is no such thing as a APC within the South East which has led to a few of our leaders in Abuja negotiating with the governors within the South East to vote for Buhari for President to achieve their help in return.
