Edo State Governor has assured residents and motorists on the Sakponba road of a lasting solution to the problem of flooding.
Governor Adams Oshiomhole made the promise at an inspection visit to the ongoing Second East Circular Road project and the Sakponba Storm Water project.
He expressed optimism that the menace of flooding in the area would be a thing of the past in the next few weeks once the project was completed.
The governor explained that the over eight feet deep drainage, being constructed on both sides of the road is expected to channel flood waters from the area to the moat.
He commended the residents of the area for their love and support, which according to him, “is behind his success as governor”.
