Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba says the emergence of Adams Oshiomhole because the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman via affirmative vote is constitutional.
The Secretary of the APC National Convention was responding to the Peoples Democratic Party’s declare that the previous Edo state governor wrongly emerged because the party’s chief.
The PDP had on Wednesday alleged that the method was not achieved in accordance with Constitutional provision.
Ndoma-Egba stated that whoever was not glad with the method might go to courtroom to hunt redress.
He stated that although most aspirants on the conference had been unopposed and elected via affirmative vote, the party met each authorized requirement.
“The response of the PDP is that of somebody who got an outcome that he did not anticipate, they were expecting an implosion which did not happen,” Ndoma-Egba stated.
“Those who weren't our mates, had been praying for an explosion of the party on that day, however thankfully, they had been all upset, we had a peaceable and profitable conference.
“Yes, there were one or two skirmishes on the convention ground, that is to be expected in an assembly of nearly 7,000 people.”
