The West Ham star is pleased with his debut campaign in the Premier League but insists Leicester City's N'Golo Kante has made more of an impact
West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet insists he is not the signing of the season in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has hit the ground running following this arrival from Marseille last June with seven goals and five assists in 20 Premier League appearances this term.
But despite his impressive start, Payet believes another signing from Ligue 1 - N'Golo Kante to Leicester City - is the Premier Leagueβs best piece of business from last summer.

"It is very nice to hear that people have said that about me. I am happy with how I have performed this season and how the team are doing so far," Payet told West Hamβs official website.
"But I would say there are other players such as Kante who arrived from Ligue 1 and has had an incredible season in Leicester's rise to the top of the table. A lot of that is down to him."
