Kwara State Police Command has arrested 11 suspected killers of a popular car wash owner in Ilorin known as Bayo Ajia.
Briefing newsmen at the Police Headquarters, the Commissioner of Police, Sam Okaula, noted that the car washer was attacked with various dangerous weapons until he gave up the ghost.
The suspected cultists were arrested on a tip-off nearly 24 hours after the incident occured. The police also arrested the suspected killers with different weapons, Indian hemp and charms.
The police are still patrolling the spot where the man Bayo Ajia was killed for more evidence and information.
As stated by the police, the assailants, four in number, went under the bridge close to the state's Stadium complex, where the deceased was operating a car wash and shot him on his forehead.
