Presidential hopeful for the 2019 election Fela Durotoye has revealed that some “vested interests” are responsible for the nation’s poor power supply.
Fela who is the founder of GEMSTONE International claimed that these “vested interests” are making money from the epileptic power situation in the country.
He said in a tweet on Thursday that they do this by selling generating sets, and solar inverters.
“The reason we don’t have power in Nigeria is because of VESTED INTERESTS who make more money out of our collective darkness so they can provide alternative power sources like generators, solar energy and inverters,” he wrote.
