According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Luis Enrique expects his players to arrive an hour before training...something a certain defender has yet to master
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has topped an unwanted list...for picking up the most fines.
Spanish newspaper Sport claims to have revealed figures to show which Barca stars have been reprimanded for arriving late to training and competitive fixtures this season.
The list comes after Barca delegate Carles Naval previously told the newspaper of manager Luis Enrique's heavy punishment scheme, fining players even "if you arrive a minute late".
Players are fined €200 (£159) for turning up late to training and €400 (£318) if they are late for a match, with training fines doubled after the first and match fines quadrupled from to €1,600 (£1,261).
Unfortunately for the 29-year-old defender, Pique is considerably ahead in the list after turning up late on more than one occasion, racking up fines worth €6,200 (£4,924).
Neymar trails in second, having been fined €1,200 (£953), and is followed by Adriano in third on €1,000 (£794) and Arda Turan in fourth with €600 (£477).
Stars Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Javier Mascherano are all absent from the list, as is the occasionally outspoken right-back Dani Alves. Perfect role models!
