Atletico Madrid have opened talks with AC Milan with a view to signing striker Carlos Bacca this summer, report La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Spanish club's sporting director Andrea Berta has reportedly been in Milan to start negotiations and offer Bacca - who cost the Rossoneri €30 million last summer - a salary of €3.8m per year.
Diego Simeone is keen on both Chelsea's Diego Costa and Borussia Dortmund marksman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but it is thought that both forwards are too costly for Atletico.
And therefore Bacca has emerged as a cut-price option for Los Rojiblancos, with the former Sevilla striker reportedly available for just €25m on the back of scoring 18 goals in 38 Serie A games for Milan last season.
