Antonio Conte is set to make his first signing as Chelsea boss, bringing in Italy goalkeeping coach Gianluca Spinelli.
According to various reprts, Conte's pursuit of Spinelli is motivated by the need to work with someone that he already knows well and to keep first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois happy.
Spinelli's appointment would also see the departure of long-standing goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon, who arrived in 2007 on the recommendation of Petr Cech.
But Lollichon has, according to reports, not enjoyed a great relationship with Courtois during the Belgian's time at Chelsea and, with Conte desperate to keep the former Atletico Madrid loanee at the club, the former Rennes' man's time at Stamford Bridge could coming to and end.
