The former Southampton attacker has failed to make a place in the Arsenal team his own since joining five years ago and the club are now prepared to let him leave
Liverpool are in pole position to sign Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer but face competition for his signature from Southampton and Everton, according to Fichajes.
The versatile midfielder has failed to cement his place in Arsene Wenger's first-team since his move from St. Mary's Stadium in 2011 and has been used sparingly this season.
The 22-year-old's inconsistency remains his biggest flaw but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly prepared to work alongside the youngster, with the Reds almost certainly set to miss out on a place in the Champions League this term.
