Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in David De Gea and United are targeting the Barcelona goalkeeper as his replacement
Manchester United are lining up Barcelona’s Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as a potential replacement for David De Gea, according to The Daily Mirror.
The report claims that Real Madrid are back in the running to sign the Spaniard, although after facing little competition last summer, they must now fend off interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
United are reportedly confident of keeping De Gea, who signed a new four-year contract with the option of a fifth season in September, but the club have held informal talks with Ter Stegen, and the 23-year-old would be open to the prospect of leaving the Spanish champions to get regular first-team football.
