Villarreal are closing in on a €3 million deal for Alexandre Pato, according to Globoesporte.
The Spanish club will pay the fee for 60 per cent of the forward’s economic rights, while the Brazilian owns the other 40%.
The 26-year-old returned to Corinthians this summer following a failed loan spell at Chelsea.

Pato moved to the Premier League at the end of January but a lack of match fitness restricted him to making just two first-team appearances.
