West Ham have offered Lyon a massive €52 million (£41.6m) for Alexandre Lacazette, according to L'Equipe.
The 25-year-old gained recognition after finishing as Ligue 1's top scorer in 2014/15 and has been the subject of much transfer speculation ever since.
The Hammers appear to be pushing hardest in the battle to sign the striker, with their latest hefty offer leaving debt-laden Lyon - who are also struggling to keep hold of Barcelona target Samuel Umtiti - with a big decision to make.
