Polish company Arrinera has introduced its first ever GT-Class racer, the Hussarya GT, at Autosport International.

The race-spec Hussarya GT carries a mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine that can produce around 430hp, complying with the GT4 class rules. The unit is connected to a six-speed sequential transmission, with paddle shifters, that sends power to the rear wheels.

Stopping the Polish machine is an Alcon brake system that consists of six-piston brake calipers and 380mm in diameter brake discs. To make the brakes even more controllable, the automaker used the Bosch Motorsport ABS Kit.

The Arrinera Hussarya GT uses a space-frame chassis made of steel tubes that meets the FIA requirements. Thanks to the high-quality materials used in its construction such as carbon fiber and Kevlar, the weight stands at just 1,250kg (2,756lbs). As you would have expected from a race car, it gets a push-rod type suspension with Ohlins dampers and springs, specifically designed for it.

Its design is determined by aerodynamics, as the automaker states, and some of its highlights include the aviation-inspired air intake on the roof, large rear spoiler and huge diffuser that contribute to its aerodynamic efficiency.

Inside it carries a Cosworth Intelligent Color Display that shows crucial live data of the car, a Corbeau bucket seat and "only the most-needed switches".

The GT4 racer will be built in only two or three examples within the next year, however, a road-going version, "largely similar", is expected by the end of the year, along with a higher-end exclusive model, named the Hussarya 33.

Arrinera's Hussarya GT will stand in the £130,000-£140,000 zone ($186,380-$200,717) and it's planned to start testing in the UK.
