This is the tense moment where a two-year-old boy is caught in a blanket by neighbours after jumping from a three-storey apartment building.
The terrifying scene was caught on camera by a passer-by in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul in Turkey.
Civilians, successfully caught the child who had reportedly been hanging out of the window for ten minutes before concerned residents raised the alarm.
Neighbours reportedly tried to yell and scream to get the attention of the mother who was inside the apartment but didn't get any response.
The dramatic video, shot near the scene, shows resourceful residents opening a piece of bed linen under the window to break the child's fall as the toddler clings to the window sill and then finally falls into the blanket.
At that moment, a woman emerges from the window adjacent and alarmed, seems to run down downstairs to the baby's aid. A second person can also be seen emerge from the window in which the baby fell.
The two-year-old was miraculously unhurt after the jump.
