Prospective candidates of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in Kaduna State on Friday protested over their inability to locate examination centres, six days after the exam commenced across the country.

The candidates who took to the streets of the state capital and blocked the gate of the JAMB office along Tafawa Balewa road in the state capital, complained that they were unable to process their registration at the Computer Based Test centres, due to insufficient facilities.

They also lamented that all efforts to reach the authorities concerning the problem were not successful.

Some of them who came all the way from Zaria and Zamfara State for the exam also lamented over the fact that they had spent so much money in an attempt to rectify the problem without any success.

Channels Television was unable to get the reaction of JAMB as a security personnel told the correspondent that the officer in charge was unavailable.
