Bayern Munich were firing blanks against Bundesliga strugglers Darmstadt until their Brazilian attacker pulled a phenomenal strike out the bag
Douglas Costa fired Bayern Munich to a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Darmstadt on Sunday with a worldie from 35 yards out that cannoned into the back of the net via the underside of the bar. Bayern were struggling to break down the bottom-of-the-table opposition until the Brazilian attacker latched on to a short pass free kick, took a couple of touches towards goal and lashed it over the defence and goalkeeper with his left foot.
The goal helped Carlo Ancelotti's men return to the top of the Bundesliga ahead of unexpected title rivals RB Leipzig on goal difference. > ..... - _Goal_That is absolutely sensational, @douglascosta!#D98FCB #Bundesliga https://t.co/0P5DGOaEsG
