Zlatan Ibrahimovic doesn’t do things by half. The charismatic Swede has built a reputation of succeeding in the unthinkable, which will have Manchester United supporters purring ahead of the new Premier League season.
The former Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain ace took to his official Instagram account on Thursday to announce that he will join the Old Trafford club this summer.
And although the 34-year-old’s showy style of play has been at the forefront of European football for over a decade, United fans may well highlight his staggering attempt against England in 2013 as his best.
A misjudged clearance by Joe Hart in the Three Lions goal saw the ball drop to the Sweden skipper about 25-yards from goal. Without a second of hesitation, Zlatan lobbed the stranded goalkeeper and the two retreating defenders with a spectacular bicycle kick.
The goal earned Ibrahimovic the 2003 Fifa Puskas Award, an accolade received for the most beautiful goal of the year.
