Craig Dawson is set to be the first to sign a new deal, with James Morrison, Stephane Sessegnon, Gareth McAuley and Jonas Olsson also in negotiations.
Dawson, 25, has been in talks for weeks and is close to agreeing a three-year deal after emerging as a first-team regular under Pulis.
Morrison, the midfielder, is out of contract this summer but Albion have also moved to tie down the Scotland international for the long-term.
Northern Ireland defender McAuley and Olsson’s deals also run out at the end of this season while Sessegnon, the £7million signing, is also in line for a reprieve after reviving his career at the Hawthorns. Talks are ongoing with the four players.
West Brom - who lost 1-0 at Newcastle on Saturday - are facing a tricky FA Cup replay at Peterborough on Wednesday night and will include 16-year-old striker Jonathan Leko in their squad.
Leko has been with the England under-17s in Portugal for the Algarve Tournament but Albion have exercised a recall after a number of injuries to first-team players.
The teenager made his debut against Norwich in the FA Cup earlier this season and is likely to play some part against the League One side.
Pulis said: “We’ll just have to see who’s available and we’ll go from there. Traditionally I’d love to do well in the cup.
“We'll dust ourselves down from a really disappointing performance at Newcastle - but you get them. Now it`s all about the reaction of the players.”
