Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, has no proper to disclaim the Joint Health Sector Union members of their salaries, says President of Nigeria Labour Congress Ayuba Wabba.
The NLC president made the comment throughout a chat with journalists after the union suspended its six weeks nationwide strike on Thursday.
Adewole had earlier threatened to not pay the salaries of JOHESU members for the variety of days they went on strike whereas some weren't paid the April wage.
And it was realized that some members of the union had been brief paid whereas some weren't paid in any respect in April.
“The minister has no final say on whether the workers will not be paid for the number of days the strike was on President Muhammadu Buhari has the final authority in this regard,” Wabba stated.
