The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday stated in Lagos that Thirteen ships carrying various products have arrived at the ports in Lagos.
This is contained in the daily 'Shipping Position' published by the NPA, which was made available to newsmen.
As stated by NPA, seven of the ships arrived with food products, including rice in bags, frozen fish and palm oil.
It stated that the remaining six ships sailed into the ports with petroleum products, including petrol, base oil and diesel.
The NPA also stated it was expecting the arrival of 35 ships at the Lagos ports from May 28 to June 17.
16 of the expected ships would sail in with containers, while four others would arrive with general cargo, the NPA stated.
It stated food products, including frozen fish, bulk salt, buckwheat, bulk sugar and crude palm oil would be brought in seven ships.
The NPA added that Petroleum products, including petrol and bulk gas, are expected to be brought in four ships.
