Senator Akpabio on The Nigerian Voice, Representing 2face Protest denial.
Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has confirmed that Senator Godswill Akpabio will join the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Senate Minority leader has been touted to leave the Peoples Democratic Party APC and has met with leaders of the party.
Akpabio also visited President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday in London, the United Kingdom.
Confirming the former Akwa Ibom governor’s defection, Amaechi told A News Media that “I saw him and he confirmed but I don’t know about the date.”
The APC over the past week had witnessed massive defections of its members to the opposition PDP as the 2019 election comes closer.
