Michel Platini has had his six-year ban from footballing activity reduced to four years by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
Platini, along with Sepp Blatter, was initially handed an eight-year ban by the FIFA ethics committe, before it was reduced to six years and now to four.
The former Juventus and France star was re-elected as UEFA president in 2015 but will not be able to continue in the role, needing his ban to be totally overturned in order to do so.
