Chelsea Set To Sign Zhang Linpeng

Reports reaching us say Chelsea FC has found a replacement for John Terry. The London club is in talks to sign China and Guangzhou Evergrande defender, Zhang Linpeng. The 26-year-old who can play as a right back or right-back is nicknamed “Zhangmos” in China due to his similarities to Real Madrid’s defender Sergio Ramos in playing style and appearance. The Chelsea hopeful told local media in China on Friday: _“I’ve worked hard and waited these five-six years for my dream of playing overseas, and finally have recognition from the English Premier League. _ "I’m very happy and very excited to finally have this formal invitation.” “Although I’m unable to play Premier League directly, I believe [Chelsea] will have the most professional arrangements regarding my permit. I have no worries at all about the negotiations.” Zhang has won four straight CSL titles with Evergrande, as well as the 2013 AFC Champions League.
