The Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO) says it has perfected methods to give unemployment the deserved knockout within the nation.
Disclosing this on the opening ceremony of a three-day coaching workshop on ‘Fish Smoking Technology’ held in Lagos, lately, the Director General (DG) of FIIRO, Professor Gloria Elemo, famous that unemployment should not have any room in Nigeria contemplating the good potential and the plentiful human/pure assets accessible within the nation.
Consequently, Elemo disclosed that the institute will quickly begin implementing its varied job creating methods in collaboration with another companies geared toward decreasing unemployment to the barest minimal within the nation.
“One of such programmes is the national Techno-entrepreneurship Development Initiative, an initiative designed by FIIRO with the support of the federal government of Nigeria”, she acknowledged.
As acknowledged by her, this initiative has the capability to prepare two million unemployed youths and girls yearly at full implementation, as well as to varied numbers of small and medium enterprises that may develop there from.

Commending FIIRO, the Coordinator of Ikorodu Fish Farmers, Mrs Bolaji Daniel, acknowledged that by being skilled by FIIRO, the worldwide market would not reject Dried fish from Nigeria.
She famous; “This training will help us to do the right thing, in terms of moisture content, nutrition composition, and all the processes of cleaning up which we never knew. A lot of people smoke fish, but without the real knowledge and training.”
