Livorno fans wreaked havoc following their relegation from Serie B on Friday, with a homemade bomb being detonated outside their stadium.
The Tuscan club were demoted to Lega Pro, the third tier of Italian football, after their 2-2 home draw against Lanciano on the final day of the season.
Livorno roared into a two-goal lead but collapsed after first-choice goalkeeper Matteo Ricci gave away a penalty and was sent off, with their visitors subsequently pulling one back from the spot.
Former Juventus youth and backup custodian Carlo Pinsoglio then committed a howler when he diverted a cross into his own net for Lanciano's equaliser, in a match that produced three red cards.
The result meant Livorno finished 21st in the table and are now back in the third division for the first time in 14 years, with supporters not taking kindly to the news.

Fans furiously protested in the streets outside the Armando Picchi, blockading the area and keeping the players locked inside their dressing rooms for two hours.
The tension escalated after a homemade bomb went off in a street directly outside the stadium.
Relegation represents a remarkable slide for Livorno, who were last competing in Serie A in the 2013-14 season.
