A Federal High Court yesterday deferred ruling in the suit filed by the former governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, challenging his impeachment by the state House of Assembly. The trial judge, Justice Bilkisu Aliyu, adjourned the case till May 22 after the adoption of the written addresses of the parties. The Counsel to the former governor, Ogunyele Olukoya, had in his final submission prayed the court to quash the impeachment of Nyako since his impeachment did not follow proper procedure.
