Between blowing 100 candles and announcing its regret for using Nazi labor during WWII, BMW seems to be planning yet another special edition vehicle.

Reportedly based on the new 7-Series, Edmunds reports that the full-sized sedan will be named 'Centennial Edition', and will come with an assortment of exterior and interior styling tweaks, to stand out from the standard model.

The special edition BMW 7-Series Centennial is expected to be a limited run model offered in select markets across the globe, including the United States.

There is currently no word on what we might find under the hood of the car, however, in the States, BMW offers the regular 7-Series with a 320 HP 3.0-liter 6-pot in the 740i, a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 445 HP in the 750i xDrive. Joining the lineup soon will be the range-topper M760Li xDrive, with a 592 HP 6.6-liter V12, and the 326hp 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid 740e.

The report says that the 7-Series Centennial should arrive in showrooms afterwards this fall.
