It seems that even when you're being extra-careful in traffic, there are still quite a few things that are completely out of your control.
For one, a driver running a red light a couple of seconds after your own light turned green. Unfortunately for this Aussie HSV GTS, that's exactly what the driver of the white Toyota Prius did and it resulted in a collision.
The owner of the dashcam car said that he even "waited a few seconds" after the light turned green, and that it was a habit picked up from riding motorbikes - which should indeed help keep you extra safe, though we can't help however, imagine that it's a rather annoying habit if you're stuck in busy city traffic.
Another thing he points out in the description of the video is that the Prius came out of nowhere, and we'll leave it to you guys to decide if that's the case or not, because the footage really makes it seem like this accident never should have happened, even with the Prius running the red light.
