National Chairman of the PDP Uche Secondus
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has assured aspirants that there is going to be free, fair primaries ahead of the presidential primaries of the party.
He made this known when he received two presidential aspirants of the party, former Sokoto state governor Atahiru Bafarawa and the governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo at the party’s national campaign office.
Speaking, Secondus said: “Let me assure you all aspirants of our party that the era of impunity, or imposition is over in the party as a rebranded PDP under my watch would ensure transparency and fairness for all.”
He also urged aspirants to work together in the interest of the party since it’s only one person that will get the slot at the end of the day.
“We must not forget to put the will of God in all we do bearing in mind that nobody gets power unless as designed and approved by God,” the PDP Chairman said.
